    Job Summary

    Responsible for developing new business prospects and interacting with existing Members to increase sales of the Society’s products and services

    Key Tasks and Responsibilities
    • Identifies, monitors and maintains customer base through efficient interactions and analyzing any changes in Members’ needs
    • Plans and implements various outreach events such as member education days and other innovative member recruitment campaigns to deliver the Sacco membership growth strategy
    • Interacts with potential Members to understand their individual requirements and recommends improvement strategies to ensure achievement of all Sacco objectives.
    • Develops and maintains relationship with business owners, individuals, corporate executives and influential personnel within their area of operations.
    • Conducts door-to-door direct selling to obtain new Members and retain the existing ones.
    • Seeks customer feedback on the Society’ products.
    • Administers Member queries on the Society’s products, manages effective resolution of all customer complaints in their portfolio.
    • Create member accounts and ensure relationship management.
    • Ensures compliance with KYC and due diligence.
    • Achieves the set individual targets in terms of Member numbers and value.
    Generic duties and responsibilities
    • Submits weekly & monthly sales reports to the Sacco Manager.

    OUTREACH COORDINATOR

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the position of Outreach Coordinator in our thriving financial institution. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, driving growth, and ensuring the overall success of the Sacco. As the Outreach Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team, managing financial resources, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance the Sacco’s performance.

    Key Tasks and Responsibilities
    • Develop and implement strategic plans in alignment with the Sacco’s goals and objectives.
    • Provide visionary leadership to drive the Sacco’s growth and sustainability.
    • Oversee the financial health of the Sacco, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in financial management
    • Foster positive relationships with Sacco members, addressing their needs and concerns.
    • Implement strategies to attract and retain members, ensuring a high level of member satisfaction
    • Efficiently manage day-to-day operations, optimizing processes for effectiveness and member service.
    • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard Sacco assets.
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the Sacco’s operations.
    • Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
    • Lead and motivate a dedicated team, providing guidance and support for professional development.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
    • Collaborate with regulatory bodies and stakeholders to maintain good governance practices.
    Qualifications and Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
    • Proven experience in a leadership role within a financial institution, preferably in a Sacco or credit union.
    • Strong financial acumen and understanding of cooperative principles.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to financial institutions.
